This project challenged my partner and I (for it was a collaborative work) to design a collection based around jackets and coats. (Only my design half will be presented below in the PDF)

Took initial inspiration from the concept of  transformation in nature. I focused my half of the collection based around decomposition as an under mood (life to death transformation). Ex: flower decaying, sediment eroding. Therefore, throughout my looks and garment, the use of  broken down, distressed, dirty, and nature based components are cohesive. 

As for my partner's half of the collection, it was based around  development as an under mood (bloom to full life). Ex: seed blooming to flower, caterpillar forming into a butterfly.

20 looks, 40 different garment flats, (40 looks & 80 flats total), a jacket/coat garment, & additional work was required from each of us.  

Jacket garment constructed from soft mohair type woven as the main upper layer, which was then distressed and ripped to expose an additional added layer under constructed from a micro-corduroy. Jacket is also fully lined. Consists of two front single welt pockets, one inside lining double welt pocket, five metal snap closures, elastic waistband, flat collar, cuffs that have been ripped apart.

ALSO TO BE NOTED: Pages were to be printed & presented in this manner, hence why this project is not set up as a traditional project.
